Terms of Service
Last updated September 4, 2026
1. Using Mosaic
A host creates an event and invites guests via a QR code or link. Guests upload photos, videos, and voice notes to that event. By using Mosaic, whether as a host or a guest, you agree to these terms.
2. Payment
Guests can shoot and upload for free before a host unlocks an event. Unlocking is a one-time, non-subscription purchase made through the App Store, tied to that specific event. Unlock purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's own refund policies.
3. Content you upload
You keep ownership of any photo, video, or voice note you upload. By uploading, you grant the event's host, and other guests of the same function (unless it's marked host-only), the right to view and download it. You confirm you have the right to upload the content you submit.
4. Acceptable use
Don't upload content that is illegal, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights. Any guest can report a photo, and hosts can remove content or block a guest at their discretion. We may suspend an event that violates these terms.
5. Host responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for how they configure their event — including privacy zone settings, who they invite, and moderation decisions within their event. Mosaic provides the tools; the host decides how their event is run.
6. Availability
We aim for Mosaic to be reliably available, especially during a live event, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for outages outside our control.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mosaic after a change means you accept the updated terms.
